Interviews have been conducted for the year 2021. If you are still interested, you can request an application for the 2022 acceptance year.

Our training program will start CDL Training once the State goes green. As of right now, the trainer cannot maintain a safe distance from the trainee in the cab of the Freightliner.

Two Weekend Training dates for 3-Hour Hazcom/OSHA 10/ and 1st Aid.

If you are planning on coming to the training site, a mask and 6ft social distancing are required. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID, have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, or traveled out of the State please do not come to the training site. If you feel you will not benefit from the training program because of your experience and or training you have already received, you can become a Journeyman with IUOE Local 953. They will make the determination of your Journeyman Skill Level. Some applicants will be sent to us for Journeyman Testing.
To get on the out of work list you will need:

Pay a $30 Registration Fee & fill out forms

Bring in any Certifications

Drivers License/Social Security Card

OUR GOAL
Apprentices will be trained to take the places of past generations of Heavy Machine Operators, Heavy Duty Mechanics, and Stationary Mechanics. You will be equipped to compete in a highly competitive world, make a good living, and be a credit to yourself, your community, and your country.

Selection of Apprentices under this program shall be made from qualified applicants on the basis of qualifications alone and without regard to race, creed, color, national origin or sex. This Program shall be operated on a completely nondiscriminatory basis.
