2023 Safety Training Is filling up quickly. Register as soon as possible.

Hello Sisters and Brothers,
2023 has arrived and Safety Trainings will begin February 18th. Two Forklifts and one 3-Hr/10Hr are already full. This year we have added Rigging & Signaling, Grade Checking, Harassment, and Lifestyle Awareness to the training schedule. For your information, the more trainings attended the more of a safety bonus at the end of the year. All training will need to be completed August 31st, 2023. For this year, anyone who attended training in 2022 were sent a 2023 Training Schedule through USPS on January 20th, 2023. Our office will keep adding addresses and emails for next years' mass mail out.
CDL Training is full for the 2023 Training Year. There is a waiting list for 2024.

If you feel you will not benefit from the training program because of your experience and or training you have already received, you can become a Journeyman with IUOE Local 953. They will make the determination of your Journeyman Skill Level. Some applicants will be sent to us for Journeyman Testing.
To get on the out of work list you will need:

Pay a $30 Registration Fee & fill out forms

Drivers License/Social Security Card

OUR GOAL
Apprentices will be trained to take the places of past generations of Heavy Machine Operators, Heavy Duty Mechanics, and Stationary Mechanics. You will be equipped to compete in a highly competitive world, make a good living, and be a credit to yourself, your community, and your country.
Selection of Apprentices under this program shall be made from qualified applicants on the basis of qualifications alone and without regard to race, creed, color, national origin or sex. This Program shall be operated on a completely nondiscriminatory basis.
